In September 2001 Kathy and Ben rode for the American Lung Association, 105 miles on Cape Cod over the course of 2 days. It was our first charity ride, and it was a lot of fun! We had perfect weather, no equipment failures, the company was good, and we had not died by the time we reached the terminus at Provincetown. Most excellent.

Thanks to all of you who sponsored us!

Another view of wating cyclists. The truck on the right later ran over a bike that someone had left leaning against it. The bike was remarkably not totalled and the rider was able to leave nearly on time!

We grabbed a bite to eat and a beer with a couple of fellow riders. This was the view from the restaurant.
