We had a tough winter, with plenty of snow, and then a very odd spring with much rain and some very hot weather. Things seem to be settling down a bit for the summer, though still a bit more weather variation than absolutely necessary.
We have been trying to get outside as much as possible with the better weather, with some success. We also went up to Ithaca to do some work on Cliff House, to get it ready for renters.
Living in Bedford, right in the center, we get to walk to the assorted parades right on the green less than a block from the house. There was the pole capping ceremony on April 9th, and a nice Memorial Day parade.
We're also celebrating the Bruins' winning the Stanley Cup this year. Way to go! We were actually unable to see game 7 since we had tickets to see the Monkees (yes, those Monkees) on their 45th anniversary tour. But Ben kept up with the score on his Droid the whole time.
