Another olio of photos. Beginning with our attempt to help out Katie, and old Springer Spaniel whose 90 year old owner had died. Sadly, Katie was so depressed with us that we had to let her go back to her own house, where she's still living, with visits from family and neighbors.
In mid-February we went down to Wellfleet to spend the weekend with Debi and Surya. Nice walks ont he beach, both harborside and Atlantic side. Beautiful sands and sunset.
Late February found Ben in Toronto for a conference and a visit with friends Michelle and Tom, of Venice-to-Florence bike trip fame.
Third week of March we had warm enough weather to take a number of bike trips. One with Jake through Wakefield deserved a photo. Later that week up to Gloucester with Mike and Pam. Interesting sculpture on the rocks there.
At the end of March we went down to Long Island to visit with Ross and Hollie, catch a Bruins/Islanders hockey game, then brunch the next day in Manhattan. All very nice, indeed.
Later in April, a bike ride out in Framingham yielded this cool house on an island in Lake Cochichuate (what do they do when it floods?), and a walk around Great Meadows, where there were many waterfowl, other birds, and plenty of turtles.
Finally, at the end of April Ben and his hockey team went up to Montreal to get trounced in a tournament. Plenty of alcohol flowed, though we could not keep up with the womens' teams, one of which had brought their "shot stick" and demonstrated its use.
