Gitte’s Chocolate Cake

  • 2 sticks of butter
  • 8 oz chocolate (semi-sweet Baker’s)
  • 4 eggs
  • vanilla (optional)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2/3 to 3/4 cup flour

Melt butter & chocolate slowly (double boiler)

Mix Eggs and sugar until white and frothy

(add vanilla to egg mixture)

add flour to egg mixture

add chocolate to egg mixture

bake at 300 – 325 degrees for about 25 minutes
