Ariana and Ben went out to California and down to NYC to visit colleges in March 2001.  We also had an amusing Chinese dinner with out friends the Irvings.  All documented here...


First, a visit to Berkeley. Here's their mascot, the golden bear, and the Sather Tower in the background.

anchovies.jpg 		The best stuff was for free outside the Monterey aquarium. Seals and sea otters in and out of the water, along with a flock of cormorants.

Is it right to eat seafood after a visit to the aquarium? We thought so, and the view was great, with much activity in the water below us.
